  Arts Ascension Academy offers a creative environment to experiment in a variety of media.
Visiting artists exhibit in the school during the academic year and occasionally instruct and interact with the art classes. High School and Middle School students have separate class times. The Middle School competes in PSIA and the High School students compete in TAPPS art competitions. Our students have been awarded District and State recognitions each year. The creative process begins with the basics of elements and principles of composition. Students study art, artists, and the history of art. Some projects include graphite drawing, charcoal, pastel, watercolor, ceramics, glass etching, origami, and Hungarian egg decoration.
