Ascension to Honor Board of Regents Scholarship Competition Winners
Amarillo, TX- Ascension Academy administration will honor 18 Amarillo area students Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at 7 p.m., in the Ascension Academy Cafetorium.
Each of the students is the winner of an academic scholarship to the school after competing in the 2010 Board of Regents Scholarship Competition in April. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $2,000. A total of $16,000 will be awarded
In its second year, the Board of Regents Scholarship Competition is designed to provide newly accepted Ascension Students an opportunity to win a scholarship that will help defray tuition expense during their first year. Currently enrolled eighth grade Ascension students were eligible to compete for scholarships as they leave the middle school and enter high school at Ascension.
