Undefeated Lady Cardinals Compete for District Champs
Amarillo, TX – 5-0 in District – that’s the record for the Lady Cardinals, and the first time in Ascension history the Ladies have gone so far into a season undefeated. The Lady Cardinals compete for the District Championship Friday, October 17 at 6:00 p.m. at the Ascension Academy Gymnasium.
In addition to playing in their last District Game, Ascension will recognize their two seniors on the Ladies’ team, Felicia Paquette and Kallie Taft, who will graduate this year.
Volleyball Coach Katie Smith will lead the team in the Presentation of Roses for the seniors, and the game will be followed by a special music video/slideshow for the seniors.
The Ladies play Heritage Classical Friday night, and have already defeated that school once this season.
Ascension Academy offers a private college preparatory education for 6th – 12th grades. We are a faith based school and a member of the National Association of Independent Schools.
