Maria was born and raised in Mexico, and has lived in the USA for over 25 years.  She and her family also lived in Bogota, Colombia for 4 years. Maria worked in the Engineering industry on and off until 1999. She has taught science, math and religion in both Mexico and the US for middle school, high school and college. Maria and her husband have 3 boys- their youngest is currently a Junior attending Ascension Academy, and their 2 oldest graduated from Ascension in 2019 and 2021.
