Board of Regents Scholarship Competition

Scholarship awards are available to new students only and are based solely on academic achievement.

• Scholarships are awarded annually to students entering their first year at Ascension. Awards are based on scores achieved on the Board of Regents’ Scholarship Competition Exam given in the spring of each year to students entering grades 6-9.
   
• Scholarship recipients are selected by the Scholarship Committee consisting of the Head of School, Director of Admission, a member of the Board of Regents, and members of the faculty responsible for creating and evaluating the scholarship exams.
   
• To qualify for scholarship consideration, students must meet the following criteria:
  • Take the Board of Regents Scholarship Competition Exam
  • Complete an Ascension Academy admission application
  • Interview with the Director of Admission or her designee

• Scholarship winners will be announced within one month of the exam. Award amounts include:
  • Partial tuition scholarships available for each grade 
  • Awards range from $500 - $2,000
