In her fourth year at Ascension Academy, Cela Jones teaches 6th Grade English, 6th Grade Protestant Religion, and 8th Grade World Civilizations I.  Mrs. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Hardin-Simmons University (Abilene, TX) in Elementary Education and a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration from George Peabody College for Teachers (Nashville, TN). Mrs. Jones taught for over 4 years in the Midland Independent School District before spending 18 years educating her children and tutoring students.
