Mrs. McClellan has 24 years experience as a Registered Nurse. She is certified in CPR, spinal, vision and hearing screening. This is her tenth year at Ascension Academy. Prior to becoming Ascension Academy's school nurse, Mrs. McClellan was charge nurse of a residential treatment center. She has been clinical instructor/quality assurance at an adolescent chemical dependency unit, and she has worked in both children's and adolescent acute care units at a psychiatric hospital. Mrs. McClellan is married with two children - Jordan is a sophomore at West Texas A&M University, and Callie is a sixth grader at Ascension. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
