Mrs. Jane Stephens returns to Ascension Academy to teach our seniors in Government and Economics.  She was on the faculty from 2006-2008 teaching in the social studies department.  Mrs. Stephens worked in the Canyon ISD for 26 years, as a teacher of social studies and French, high school counselor, Director of Secondary Programs and as Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction.  She holds three Texas Teacher Certifications in Secondary Social Studies Composite, Professional Counseling and Professional Mid-Management Administration.  At Ascension this year Mrs. Stephens will also serve as our first high school Dean of Student Affairs.
