Kayla Carpenter

Kayla Carpenter joined the Board of Regents in 2009. She is a native of Canadian, Texas who earned a degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A & M. She has been in the banking industry for 24 years, the last 15 at Happy State Bank where she is Senior Vice President.

Ms. Carpenter is married and the mother of three children. A member of Amarillo South Church, she serves on the Good Samaritan Counseling Board and the church’s Finance Committee.
