Mrs. Womack joined Ascension Academy in 2008 to teach Studio Art. She attended school at the Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts in York, Pennsylvania and worked in the field of graphic design in Maryland until she moved to Amarillo ten years ago. Once here, she continued working as a graphic designer until the opportunity to go back to school full-time presented itself. During the past five years Nannette has worked as a sculptor/assistant under the artist Mickey Wells at Southwest Bronze while attending Amarillo college and then West Texas A&M University where she completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and graduated with honors in the spring of 2008. Nannette has also been teaching clay classes for kids and adults at the Amarillo Art Institute for just over a year, as well as creating her own work which is on exhibit in her gallery at Sunset Center.
