Mrs. Patricia T. Summerhill will be working in the middle-school math department and with several after-school math programs at Ascension Academy.

Mrs. Summerhill earned her B.S. degree from Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, PA and her M.Ed. degree from the American University in Washington, D.C. She brings with her more than thirty years of teaching experience in public schools (Gettysburg Area School District and Chambersburg Area School District) and teaching and administrative experience in Independent schools (Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School).

During her teaching career Mrs. Summerhill was awarded the Outstanding Teacher of the Year award while teaching in the Chambersburg Area School District and the prestigious Maslow Teaching Award during her tenure at Wyoming Seminary. She teaches middle school math at Ascension.
