International Admissions
Welcome, International Applicants & Families
We are happy you are here to learn more about the international admission process. We encourage you to browse our website and learn about our college preparatory program, grounded in the four pillars that represent our students as Scholars, Artists, Athletes, and Leaders. We live our mission every day in and out of the classroom to maximize the potential of every student in a safe, faith-affirming environment. Our student body is diverse, welcoming, and engaged in multiple aspects of our programs across all four pillars as part of their everyday coursework, artistic expression, leadership opportunities, and athletics. We encourage and support our students as they explore their interests and develop the interpersonal skills necessary to become confident, independent critical thinkers, who are prepared for the challenges that await them in college and beyond.
Ascension Academy accepts applications from international students who are interested in studying at Ascension for a minimum of two consecutive years of high school in grades nine through eleven. Applications may be submitted at any time, with enrollment to begin at the start of each school year or by exception as a semester transfer student if currently enrolled in an accredited school in the U.S. or with approval by the Admission Committee.
International tuition, including homestay costs during academic sessions, is $30,000. Families can expect the initial cost of uniform items to be in the range of $200-$250 USD. Families can also expect to provide school supplies, a laptop or Chromebook, any student school-related incidentals throughout the academic year, health insurance, and any personal funds a student may require.
Once a student has been accepted, paid the one-time enrollment fee of $1,000, and provided all required I-20 application documents, Ascension will issue an I-20 for the purposes of obtaining an F-1 Visa.
Please become familiar with the resources and guidance for applying for an F-1 Visa and studying in the U.S. found at the SEVP/Department of Homeland Security website:
