Tacy has been in education for over 20 years. She has taught students from 4th grade through adult learners and has taught a multitude of subjects. When she is not teaching, Tacy volunteers at the local dispute resolution center and serves on its board, works with others to develop their communication and conflict management skills, and continues her education in conflict management.
Tacy married her high school sweetheart, Jonathan (Jon), over 20 years ago. They have two children attending Ascension Academy, as well as a nephew who lives with them. For fun Tacy collects quilting fabric and sewing machines, and sometimes even makes quilts with them.
