Biography
R.N. - ADN - Amarillo College
Judy Merker R.N., serves Ascension Academy as the school nurse/director of student health. She coordinates CPR/AED/medical training for staff. Accounts for daily attendance/absences.
Judy is certified in spinal, vision and hearing screenings, and AED/CPR training. She also works as a home health nurse after school hours. Prior to coming to Ascension Academy Mrs. Merker worked 11 yrs as a public school nurse, after BSA Hospital and Harrington Cancer Center. In her spare time she enjoys gardening. She and her husband enjoy spending time with their 3 adult children/spouses, their 6 grandchildren and traveling.
