Biography
B.A. Music Education with instrumental emphasis, West Texas A&M University
Nadia joins Ascension Academy this year as the Wind Ensemble teacher. She grew up in Stratford, Texas, but hails originally from Jalisco, Mexico. She has played the Trombone for 13 years. Nadia was a part of the West Texas A&M University marching band, concert band, & Trombone choir.
At West Texas A&M University she was part of the Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band fraternity, with the mission to serve the college and university band programs and help schools around the Amarillo Area. They assist in sectionals, all region, Greater Southwest Music Festival, stand fixing, and organizing music library for band directors.
Nadia is very thrilled to be part of the Ascension family, Go Cardinals!
