Taylor Moreno joined Ascension Academy as the Choir Director in the Fall of 2022. She received her Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from West Texas A&M University in 2024. Taylor was actively involved in choir throughout middle school and high school, performing in multiple musicals and participating in TMEA and UIL competitions. Some of her favorite musical moments include singing in the TMEA All-State Choir in 2018, performing in the chorus of TEXAS! The Outdoor Musical in 2019, and having her Carnegie Hall debut in the summer of 2023. This summer, Taylor was the Assistant Music Director for TEXAS! The Outdoor Musical!
Mrs. Moreno is passionate about sharing her love of music with each student she has the pleasure of teaching. She is excited to continue expanding her teaching abilities at Ascension Academy as she steps into many new roles this school year!
