We are delighted to welcome families to Ascension Academy Montessori Preschool, opening for the 2026–2027 school year.

As an extension of Ascension Academy—the Texas Panhandle's only college preparatory school serving students in grades 5–12—our Montessori Preschool provides children ages 3–5 with an exceptional beginning to their educational journey. Through a carefully prepared Montessori environment, we nurture each child's natural curiosity, encourage independence, and cultivate a lifelong love of learning.

Known affectionately as the “Fledglings” or “Little Cardinals”, our preschool students will learn, explore, and grow in a dedicated building on the Ascension Academy campus, designed specifically to meet the developmental needs of young learners. While enjoying a space of their own, students will also become part of a vibrant school community committed to academic excellence and character development.

Led by Montessori-certified educators Emma Beckham and Kate Beckham, our program embraces hands-on learning, self-directed exploration, and individualized instruction. Every classroom experience is intentionally designed to help children build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, and discover the joy of learning at their own pace.
