THEATER ARTS

Theater Arts is one of Ascension’s fastest growing programs. Students learn the basics of acting, design, and technical theater. A comprehensive instruction in the history of theater, Shakespeare, and theatrical make-up is an essential component of the Ascension thespian experience.

Each Fall the high school theater students put on a dessert theater production to which all the seats are sold out every year.  In addition, the middle school theater students put on a comedy production in the Spring of each school year.

Ascension prides itself on offering excellence in the arts and is dedicated to building an outstanding Theater Arts curriculum. Students in both Middle School and High School are encouraged to develop their acting talents through our theatre arts program.
