Upon completion of her degree, she taught English and coached soccer and cross country in Wylie, Texas for three years before moving to Amarillo. Ressa taught English II and pre-AP English I at Randall High School for four years before taking time off to start and spend time with her family. Ressa joined the Ascension Academy English Department in 2017.
