B. Music, Vocal Performance, Wayland Baptist University
A recent graduate of Wayland Baptist University, Taylor Lindley is joining Ascension Academy as the Choir Director in the Fall of 2022. Along with teaching, she will be pursuing her Master of Music at West Texas A&M University. Taylor began singing in the 5th grade and knew from that moment she wanted to pursue a career in music education. She stayed active in choir throughout middle school and high school, performing in multiple musicals and participating in TMEA and UIL competitions. In college, she was a member of the International Choir for four years, serving as President for three of those years. She also competed in the Texoma Region NATS competitions, advancing to the semi-finals in her senior year. Some of her favorite musical moments include singing in the TMEA All-State Choir in 2018, performing in the chorus of TEXAS! The Outdoor Musical in 2019, and playing Little Red in Opera of the Plains’ production of Little Red Ridinghood this spring. Miss Lindley is passionate about sharing her love of music with each student she has the pleasure of teaching. She is excited to expand her teaching abilities by stepping out of the private studio and into the choir room.
